Extended Version of Proceedings Paper
All papers which are accepted, registered (fulfilling the exceptional and one-time registration guidelines for IAVVC 2025), and presented as per the presentation guidelines (oral or poster) for IAVVC 2025, and which subsequently will appear in the IAVVC 2025 proceedings in IEEE Xplore, are eligible to submit a technically-extended version to the IAVVC 2025 Special Section in the IEEE Open Journal of Instrumentation and Measurement (OJIM) or IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement.
The author can choose whether to submit their paper to TIM or OJIM. In case the author decides to submit to OJIM, the open access fees are waived. The same paper cannot be submitted to both journals simultaneously.
Papers of the IAVVC 2025 Special Section will be published online as they are accepted, and the Special Section’s Table of Contents will be published at the end of the year.
Submission Timeline:
Window of submission for 2025 IEEE OJIM IAVVC Special Section is: until July 22, 2025. This submission date will NOT be extended.
Window of submission for 2025 IEEE TIM IAVVC Special Section is: until July 22, 2025. This submission date will NOT be extended.
Important Notes About the Scope: Each manuscript shall be within the scope of the journal and based on a paper published in the IAVVC 2025 Proceedings. Moreover, the manuscript MUST be technically extended beyond the scope of the proceedings paper, in terms of the overall TECHNICAL content and research results.
